Mayor Katchur called the regular Council Meeting of August 23, 2016 to order at 6:00 p.m.

 

 

2.   Approval of Minutes of July 12, 2016 Regular Council Meeting

4.1   Fort Saskatchewan Historical Society - Canada's 150 Birthday Commemorative Project

 

 

Ms. Norma Leader, Vice-President, Fort Saskatchewan Historical Society was in attendance to make a presentation on the Fort Saskatchewan Historical Society’s commemorative project for Canada’s 150th Birthday in 2017.  The Society would like to build a deck type structure with interpretive signs within the original site of the NWMP Fort.

 

Mayor Katchur thanked Ms. Leader for her presentation.

 

 

Mayor Katchur called a short recess at 6:17 p.m.

 

The regular Council Meeting reconvened at 6:18 p.m.
